The Tyrolean Hound is a versatile hunting dog that is used by hunters in the mountains and woods. It originated from the Celtic Hound around 1500 in Austria. The Tyrolean Hound has been used as a scent hound for hunting fox and hare, as well as a tracking dog for all types of game.
