The Spinone is an ancient breed from Italy. These dogs are renowned for their excellent swimming and retrieving skills. Their coat protects them from the harsh weather conditions and cold-water temperatures. Their body is sizeable with strong bones and hindquarters indicating their immense strength and endurance. This breed is very popular in many European countries, but remains rare in the United States today.
