The Affenpinscher dog is one of the most ancient of Toy dogs. The Affenpinscher dogs were developed in Germany, probably during the 1600s. The Affenpinscher dog is recognized by its monkeyish expression.
In France, the Affenpinscher dog is known as the "mustached little devil" and in German, their name means "monkey-like terrier." They are fearless against an aggressor, however the Affenpinscher dog has a personality of quiet, genuine loyalty to its owner. Most people love their Affenpinscher dogs.
