The Ocicat was bred to look like the spotted cats of the wild. These cats originated through breeding the American Shorthair, Siamese, and Abyssinian. Although they look wild, their temperament is far from it. The Ocicat is much like a dog that enjoys the companionship of its owner, without being overly needy.
