Parrot Secrets: this eBook has saved more parrots than you can possibly imagine. This is a must for parrot owners.
Budgerigars are Australian birds that, in the wild, flocked in numbers up to the tens of thousands and, when they landed, they nested in rotted wood, tree hollows, rocks, and holes in the earth (generally after rainfall when food was abundant.) 21 varieties arose out of breeding programs for color and feather characteristics. The Budgerigars have become very popular as pets. The Budgerigar was named after the Aboriginal word for good food, betcherrygah.
