There are more than one family of birds referred to as "Button Quail." For example, there is a "Button Quail" belonging to the family turnicidae, and there is also one identified as a phasanidae species. The latter is much more tamable. Button Quails are distributed in Australia and South East Asia. They are very short-lived, but very easy-going and convivial. These birds come in silver, white, brown, and other colors.
