Chick
When choosing a chick or a bird, don't rely on the photos, but see the birds themselves.
The mythology says that these birds were brought by the Argonauts from the river Phasis in Colchis. Some historical fossils show that these birds were kept and favored by Egyptian Pharaohs and that Alexander the Great brought them to Greece from Asia.

Chick -
bird, photos
Males are highly territorial birds; the successful ones possess a few acres and defend it from intruders in heated battles. Males usually breed with several females. The males of some species build small arenas of sticks and call the females into the ring, where they dance together. When choosing a chick or a bird, don't rely on the photos, but see the birds themselves.
