Percheron Picture
A percheron picture is not very helpful when you buy purebred foals or a horse.
The history of this breed is not exactly clear. These horses originated in the province of Le Perche, near Normandy, France. The ancestors of the modern day breed served as war horses and carried knights into battle as draft animals in the field.

foals, horse
These horses are usually gray or black. The gaits are supple and light; the head is fine with a square, wide forehead, long, thin ears, a lively eye, straight nose and wide nostrils. The horse’s neck is long with an abundant mane and the throat is thin. A percheron picture is not very helpful when you buy purebred foals or a horse.
