Pekingese Rescue
The pekingese rescue club will usually have an adult dog surrendered to the rescue but not puppy age.
This is a generally healthy breed. However, it is susceptible to some disorders, such as elongated soft palate common in short-muzzled breeds. Bone problems also occur in the breed. It is recommended to test breeding stock for eye and knee disorders.
