Also called Cougar, Panther, Puma, Painter, Catamount.
These secretive, solitary hunters possess an excellent eyesight and superb hearing. They are skilled night hunters, but unlike most wild cats, these predators can easily hunt at day. They are agile climbers and jumpers and run swift. Lion mountain babies cannot be kept as pets, in spite of their cute photos.
