Mountain Lion Hunts
Sometimes, a mountain lion hunts on cattle farms when its usual prey is scarce; the conservation status of the species is endangered due to habitat loss and competition for prey.
Cougar, puma, catamount and panthers are other names of these animals. They are probably the largest wild cats of the North America. Adult males weigh from 130 to 150 pounds. Females are smaller; they weigh 65-90 pounds.
