Pet Monkey
Information on the pet monkey can be obtained from breeder farms that specialize in baby monkeys as pets.
Monkeys are found in South and Central America, Africa and some of the southern parts of Asia. Tropical forests and subtropics are their natural habitat. Due to year-round warm temperatures, they find their necessary food supply. These animals are members of the Order Primates and make up almost 90% of the suborder Anthropoidea. There are two so called infraorders of Anthropoidea: the Platyrrhini and the Catarrhini. The former include arboreal New World species, and the latter include Old World species, apes and humans.

Pet Monkey -
farms, baby
Monkeys are social animals. As for New World ones, their groups usually consist of 20 members maximum. Old World monkey troops have from 30 to 100 members. Family groups, multi-male groups and one-male groups comprise the three kinds of social groups. Some species tend to make nice pets. However, having a monkey as a pet requires a lot of patience and love. More often than not, they become absolutely unpredictable in home environment as they mature, because they are absolutely unfit to confinement.
