Baby Monkey

The baby monkey is protected by most conservation groups who rescue the baby from poachers and hunting. Primates are probably among the most popular and interesting animals in the world. There are a number of primate varieties. There are New World and the old world species of Africa and Asia. They vary in appearance and size. New World and Old World species have been evolving separately for 30,000,000 years and have developed a number of distinctions. Old World monkeys are larger in size and lead a semi-terrestrial life. Many New World species have prehensile tails enabling them to hold on to tree branches. The baby monkey is protected by most conservation groups who rescue the baby from poachers and hunting.

Primates are social animals. Old World troops have from 30 to 100 members. As for New World species, their groups usually consist of 20 members maximum. Family groups, multi-male groups and one-male groups comprise the three kinds of social groups. Some species may make nice pets. However, the majority of human-monkey relationships end in tears. If you are considering the possibility of purchasing a primate, think twice before you do. They can be admirable and merry in childhood, but as they mature, they become dangerously unpredictable and highly destructive. The baby monkey is protected by most conservation groups who rescue the baby from poachers and hunting.
