These animals weigh up to 400 pounds when they are full-grown. All llamas have 2 toes per foot and the bottoms of their feet, which are padded with tough leathery soles to protect them from sharp rocks. They are part of the camel family. Pets for sale kept on the farms are not used for hunting.
