If you buy puppies from a breeder or rescue, take it to a pet doctor to get it checked out thoroughly.
These creatures are born blind and without coat. As a rule they open their eyes in 7 or 14 days; if the eyes have not opened within 14 days of age, they should be opened by a vet. The newborns sleep and eat for 90% of their time within first two weeks.
