The Labradoodle come in two types: the Poodle/Labrador mix, and the Australian Labradoodle. The Australian Labradoodle type consists of 6 different breeds. An average life span for this breed is 12-16 years. Females of the Standard size weigh 45-60 pounds while males weigh 55-77 pounds. The Medium sized females weigh 40-55 pounds while males are larger. The Miniature females weigh 26-55 pounds and males’ weight is a bit larger. Animals of this breed are very friendly; they are good with other animals, children and adults. An important thing to consider when buying a Labradoodle is whether it will fit comfortably into your quarters.
