This breed is said to be unique in its characteristics and probably originated in Britain and then was imported to the United States, where it is now very popular with spinners and weavers. Both males and females have prominent horns and weigh about 100 to 120 pounds. The breed is said to be curious and agile and resembles goats in temperament.
