There are two types that have different coats – coarsehaired and shorthaired dogs. In coarsehaired dogs, the coat is harsh and dense and is 2 inches in length, whereas shorthaired dogs have a smooth and shiny coat. They come in black/tan or any shade from deep red to wheaten.
