Iguana Food

These reptiles are omnivorous and can eat both plant and meat. The main part of their diet consists of fruits and leaves, but sometimes they feed on insects, eggs and small vertebrates. Wild caught reptiles suffer much from changes in their diet.

About a half of wild caught reptiles die during the transportation from their native areas. They are rather difficult to keep as pets, because they grow very large and take much place.
