The galapagos iguana doesn't have as many breeders as other varieties; it's more likely to be seen in the wild than on a farm. These lizards are excellent swimmers and live along the seashore. They are one of the most primitive in the family. The average size of these creatures is 1-1.2 m; their skin is yellowish with brown spots; they have a large dorsal crest.
