Ruby Throated Hummingbird
The ruby throated hummingbird can be seen in pictures or through some bird breeders with an aviary for wild birds rescue.
This species of hummers is common in eastern part of the USA. These little creatures migrate very far in spite of their size. Some individuals fly from Canada to Costa Rica. They travel not in flocks, but entirely alone; even the young know the way.

Males of this species have brilliant red throat, black chin, green back and sides and whitish under parts. The females are not so bright; they are pale green.
