Rufous Hornbill
A rufous hornbill breeder may take photos of it.
The birds of this species live in vast forests in the Philippines. Three species of these birds are distinguished. The red beak is the typical characteristic of these subspecies. They spend much of the time in trees, but in the morning they descend to the ground to feed on insect larvae, centipedes, and grasshoppers.

Rufous Hornbill -
breeder, photos
They make their nests in tree cavities. Only females incubate the eggs. After the eggs are laid, the hole is almost completely sealed up with mud. There is only a small gap left for the male to pass the food. A rufous hornbill breeder may take photos of it.
