Solutions to problems viewing Ads or with registration:
- Cookies are required in order to use the classifieds section. First review the section on
Cookies if you are
having problems such as logging in, placing Ads, or registration.
- JavaScript is required in order to place Ads in the classifieds section. If you are having problems with the dropdown menus for
selecting categories
and breeds for the Ads, review the section on
JavaScript to make sure that JavaScript is enabled.
- Viewing owner contact information:
- If you have already purchased a Classifieds
Viewer Subscription (CVS) in order to view owner contact information
for all Ads on GotPetsOnline, then first
login,
using your E-mail address and password.
- If you have forgotten your password,
just click on the "Forgot your Password?" link under the
login and your password
will be sent to your E-mail address immediately.
- If you have not purchased a Classifieds Viewer Subscription, read about
viewing owner contact information.
- If you are unable to see the "Place Ads" button, make sure you
do not have "ad blocking" enabled on Norton's Firewall Internet Security
software.
- If you cannot see or click on some links on GotPetsOnline,
it may be because your Norton Firewall Internet Security software is set
by default to NOT display certain links that it considers "Ad-related."
- For instance,
on your Checklist, you may not be able to see a link for "Remove" to the left of the Ad or
a link for "View" to the right of the Ad in your Checklist.
- This problem applies only to users of Norton Internet Security products, not to
users of just the Norton Anti-Virus products.
- We recommend disabling this
feature in order to properly view GotPetsOnline.
- In your Norton Internet
Security options, go to Ad Blocking and turn it OFF.
- This will allow you to
see banner ads and other links on Web pages that Norton blocks by default.
Leave the POP-UP blocker ON.
- If you are still having problems, contact
technical support.
