1. Buyers will contact you through our confidential e-mail system. By using this system, your e-mail address will be kept totally confidential. Here is how it works. The buyer clicks on the link to "Contact Ad Owner" located below your Ad and writes a message to you. Our automated system then forwards the message to your e-mail address. GotPetsOnline, as part of its fraud prevention program, will attempt to provide the IP address, IP address location, and the IP internet service provider of each user who initiates contact with another user through our confidential email service. This information will be posted at the top of each email you receive.

2. All pet lovers can search Ads for FREE. This powerful search feature lets them search by category and by breed. They can sort the search results by Country, State/Province, and Ad Number. By clicking on the Ad Number or Caption, they can view pictures of the pet and specifics about the Ad such as the Date Posted, Price, Details about the pet in the Ad Text, and the Owner's State/Province and Country.

3. If they find a pet that they want to buy, only then is it necessary for them to purchase the Classifieds Viewer Subscription (CVS) for $9.95 for 90 days.

4. The CVS allows them to view owner contact information for ALL Ads for 90 days. We explain about CVS at the bottom of every Ad.

5. This is similar to purchasing a newspaper in order to read the classified Ads, but it is much more convenient, much less expensive, and includes many more pet Ads than hundreds of newspapers combined!

6. The great benefit for buyers is that they don't have to pay anything unless they find an interesting pet. If they don't find anything of interest, it costs them nothing, not even the cost of a newspaper!

7. The great benefit for sellers is that they can advertise each individual pet that they own, regardless of price, since advertising is FREE. By requiring a subscription from the buyers to view owner contact information, only serious buyers will be contacting the pet owners who advertise with us.

8. This is how we are able to finance our website and provide valuable and convenient information for those who want to buy pets.

9. If for some reason you do not want others to see your name, address, or phone number in your Ad even when they have a Classifieds Viewer Subscription, you can hide these fields by setting your account up to hide them. Just login to your user account, click on Account Info, and place a checkmark in front of the fields that you wish to hide.

10. If you hide your name, address, and phone number to maintain privacy, users with Classified Viewer Subscriptions will still be able to contact you via the confidential GotPetsOnline e-mail system. Your own e-mail address is never displayed in the Ads. Therefore, you can maintain your privacy and yet still be reached by those interested in your Ads.
