Halden Hound -
kennels, breeders
The first standard for the breed was written in the 1950s. The breed is believed to be the result of crossing Swedish, German, and English scent dogs to produce a good hunting companion. They need regular brushing and a lot of exercise. For a purebreed halden hound, buy from halden hound kennels or breeders, where as rescue dogs are often not purebreds.
