People who keep these animals should be ready for a lot of commitment and should devote a lot of time to care. Although these animals are generally healthy, they may be prone to colds and other conditions. Performing regular veterinary check ups is a must. The species needs to be examined for lumps, cuts, fleas, ticks or lice. If your pet has diarrhea, weight loss or excessive weight gain, inactivity, nasal or eye discharge, hair loss, or limping, these are likely to be the signs of a certain disease.

Guinea Pig Sick -
chick, picture
Actually, these cute little animals make wonderful companions. They bite only when very frightened. As they can easily jump out of hands when someone is holding them, children holding cavies should be supervised by an adult. If you decided to buy such a pet, it is reccomended to take at least a couple of cavies, but of the same sex. These animals are very sensitive; they can’t stand loud noises and strong odours. They are very shy by nature and in the wild they usually spend a lot of time hiding. A guinea pig sick should consult a vet if the condition persists, chick should be treated the same and sometimes providing a picture.
