Pigs
Pigs are one kind of animal that a breeder may raise; chicks are another common one.
These animals make very good pets. They are very shy by nature and usually spend a lot of time hiding. They even eat twice a day, in the evening and in the morning. In the wild they inhabit long grass territories and live 3-5 years. Generally they are one of the most amusing and popular companions, as they are not difficult to care for. What is good about them is that they do not need extra room and have no special feeding requirements; they are also easy to train. Maintenance is not expensive.

Pigs -
breeder, chicks
Like any other pet, these animals need regular veterinary check-ups. As there is no absolutely healthy animal, a cavy is also not an exception. They commonly suffer from respiratory infections, diarrhea, scurvy, abscesses, and lice, mites and fungus infections. Be very attentive to your pet and at any sign of ailment, turn to a vet. It is recommended prior buying a cavy; find a reputable vet specializing on these particular animals. Domestic cavies live for 4-6 years, so be ready to care for your pet for this entire period.
