This is a longhaired variety with a broad head and a short face. The body length is about 20-40 cm and the average litter size is about 3 babies. They are often kept as pets and come in a variety of colors. Since they have a long coat, they require a lot of grooming. Their coat is usually parted down the centre of the back, with the hair falling forward over the face. These pets are not recommended for novice owners. The care requirements are similar to those for other types and include feeding them pet foods and placing them in roomy cages with solid floors.
