These animals live in mountain ranges from the coast of British Columbia to the Rocky Mountains in Alberta. Males are usually large than females; yet need more time to mature. The color ranges from white and blonde to brown and black. The species eats a lot of plants, roots, and sometimes hunts for calves of elk and moose.
