Also called Russian Retriever, Yellow Retriever.
Well-bred and well-trained dogs of this breed are friendly, reliable, and trustworthy. Quarrelsomeness or hostility towards other dogs or people in normal situations is not typical of the breed. Such problems occur when the dog is mistreated and not provided with enough exercise. When bored, these active and playful creatures become a nuisance for the owner. They develop bad habits and try to escape or amuse themselves by barking, digging, and chewing. Problematic behavior should be corrected as soon as possible.
