YGRRC is composed of owners, breeders, exhibitors, trainers and breed fanciers interested in breed improvement and promotion. It organizes various shows and competitions in obedience, agility, tracking and many others. It also offers puppy kindergartens there owners are trained and instructed. Experienced instructors teach very young puppies; it helps to make their socialization easier and form closer bonds between the dog and its owner. The organization also helps solve the problem of pet overpopulation by educating the owners about the responsible ownership.
