Many people in hoping to cash in on this popularity, breed mediocre dogs without regard to their temperament, conformation, working abilities or other good attributes. Some owners of purebred dogs want to produce puppies either for profit or because it’s fun to have puppies. Such people don’t seem to care about the future of the puppies and don’t see the necessity in screening the breeding stock for typical disorders.
