The only problem with a healthy and well-behaved dog of this breed is grooming. The long and dense coat of these dogs requires regular brushing and bathing. Everyday brushing helps reduce the amount of overall shedding and prevents painful mats from occurring. The whole procedure takes about 10-15 minutes a day. Puppies should be used to grooming from the early age, even when it’s not necessary. Ear cleaning and nail trimming should be done regularly.
