Golden Illinois Retriever -

Also called Russian Retriever, Yellow Retriever.
This breed was developed in the British Isles from crosses of several breeds – Tweed Water spaniel, setters, Newfoundland, Bloodhound and some others. The original purpose was bird and small game hunt on both land and water. The breed has a good nose and a retrieving instinct. Today, these dogs are used for arson and drugs detection; their desire to please and lovable nature make them excellent guides for the blind and service dogs for the disabled.
