The ideal dogs of this breed are very athletic and symmetrical, but not very well balanced. This breed is usually sulky and non-aggressive. It’s praised for its intelligence and friendliness. The most obvious feature of this breed is long wavy coat, which varies in shade from cream to dark brownish. There are two breed variations: English and American, which differ slightly in body build and coat color. English variety is characterized by longer cream-colored coats, shorter and larger bodies and square muzzles.
