Giraffe Photos
Good giraffe photos are difficult to make, but watching their photo galleries and separate photos is fun.
These mammals are purely herbivorous, and they feed on acacia leaves, twigs, grass and tree bark. Their long necks allow them to reach tree crowns and pick out good leaves. They can spend several days without water and thus adapt to seasonal droughts.

They feature distinctive chequered patterns of color all over the coat, which camouflages them in their natural environment. They are very vulnerable to attacks by man and wild felines, who kill up to 70% of the young. They are particularly exposed to attacks when lying or drinking.
