Giraffes live 25 years in the wild and about 30 years in captivity. They weigh about 3,000 pounds, and stand 18 feet high. Bulls are about one yard taller than cows, and they have a more substantial mane on the neck.

Giraffes live in areas with due amounts of trees. They spend more than half of their daytime wandering in quest of food. Giraffes are purely herbivorous, and they feed on foliage, branches, twigs and bark, preferring Combretum and acacia leaves. Almost all exotic breeders can provide you with pictures of the animals available from the farm.
