Black Footed Ferret

The black footed ferret and it's babies live in similar habitats as a rodent. This animal is primarily nocternal. They eat, sleep, and raise their young in prairie dog burrows, and cannot survive for extended periods outside of a prairie dog colony. In the wild, prairie dogs make up 90% of a ferret's diet. As an endangered species, it is against the law to own one as a pet. The black footed ferret and it's babies live in similar habitats as a rodent.
