Exmoor Pony

An exmoor pony may be called a foal; a photo is a nice treat if you've never seen one. Nowadays, Dartmoor Ponies are found all over Great Britain. These ponies can also be seen in other European countries including France, Germany, and Sweden. These animals have also been exported to Australia, Canada, the U.S., and to the Falkland Islands as well. An exmoor pony may be called a foal; a photo is a nice treat if you've never seen one.

These creatures were mainly used as pack animals, carrying the tin from mines to the surrounding towns. When the mines closed, most of these animals were turned loose to roam the moor. Only few of these ponies were left by local farmers for use on their farms. An exmoor pony may be called a foal; a photo is a nice treat if you've never seen one.
