The dogs of this very breed do well in an apartment, but it should be provided with enough exercise. These dogs are moderately active indoors and require at least a small yard. The coat of the breed is moderately long and oily; it requires regular grooming. A puppy or dog at a rescue will be grateful and loving to the new owner.
