There are four types of these creatures: the English Angora, French Angora, Satin Angora and the German (Giant) Angora. They differ in size, thickness of hair and care needed. The English Angora is the smallest of the four. Its weight is 5-7.5 pounds.

It has very delicate and soft fiber with little guard hair. Long facial hair and tasseled ears add extravagancy to its appearance.
