When the baby is already 8-9 weeks of age, it should be weaned and start eating regular food. The health of your animal depends on the diet which should represent a mixture of fats, proteins, carbohydrates, minerals and vitamins. At first, a pup must be fed four times a day and by the time it is mature, feedings should be downed to twice a day or even once a day if a dog gets little exercise.
