Minature English Bulldog

Toy variation of the breed was developed in 1980’s and became very popular. It possesses the same appearance, character and disposition as full sized breeds, such as courage, strength, protectiveness, devotion to the master and the whole family, loyalty and peacefulness. Adult dogs are not very active and prefer to live indoors. These dogs are of gentlest temperament with the master and are at the same time very brave as guardians. This breed tends to dominate and display strong leadership, so it requires socializing at early age.

Minature English Bulldog -

This variation practically lacks the hereditary diseases of its ancestors and is easier to breed and raise. Females are very good mothers and never abandon their puppies, unlike some other breeds. These dogs weigh 20-24 lbs and stand 12-14 inches at the shoulders. They are small in stature but wide and compact with thick, massive heads. The coat comes in many colors, such as red, fawn, brindle, pale yellow or washed-out red, or white. Any combination of these colors also exists. Black color of the coat is undesirable in the show ring but not a disqualification and is recognized by the AKC.
