Hunting Elk
Hunting elk doesn't mean you can shoot a baby; babies are not allowed according to regulations.
The babies are born with spotted coats which camouflage them from various predators. They use such defense strategy as lying still on the ground until danger passes. As a rule, the young are very difficult to locate as they hide in the grasses or shrubs.
