The english bulldog usually has large litters of puppies, and is rarely available through rescue organizations.
This breed is relatively small (12-16 inches), but wide and compact, with a broad and massive head. It is shorthaired; all colors except black are acceptable. It's better to keep such dogs indoors, as they are inactive and can easily chill.

Their life span is about 8 years. The breed is very easy to look after: the coat requires little grooming and bathing, adult dogs are often dislike exercise.
