Basset Hound Stuffed
A basset hound stuffed with food does not make a good hunting dog, as seen in a photo from a kennel promoting dog care.
The dogs are valued for their excellent hunting abilities and friendly temperament. The breed is known for its peculiar and somewhat hyperbolic appearance. However, in spite of its prolonged back, big head, short legs and long ears, the dog does not look clumsy.

Basset Hound Stuffed -
Photo, Kennel
The name of the breed was derived from the French adjective “bas,” which means a "low thing" or "a dwarf." This dog is sometimes called the only one that is able to step on its own ear. It is an excellent hunting dog, however, it is more likely to be a nice family pet nowadays.
