Argentine Dogos are quite large, measuring up to 27 inches in height and weighing as much as 120 pounds (most will weigh in between 100 and 115 pounds, females being slightly smaller). They have short and thick coats that are of white color.

As their coats are short and thick they function in extremely warm weather reflecting the light. These dogs mature slowly, and do not reach full size until in between their second and third years. The founder of the breed is dr. Antonio Nores Martinez that developed the breed in the 1920’s. When considering a puppy for sale, remember to check the rescues as well as breeders.
