The dogo argentine rescues will take any age dog, from a puppy up through an older adult.
This is the only one breed that is recognized as a national breed of Argentina. Dr. Antonio Nores Martinez, a hunting enthusiast was not satisfied with the existing abilities of the dog and decided to improve the breed by crossing it with other breeds.

Thus beginning from the year 1920 he started crossing of these dogs. The dogs were bred at first only for fighting and Dr Martinez added to the breed nine more breeds.
