Mini Doberman Pinscher
A mini doberman pinscher can be obtained from rescues, but don't trust pictures when choosing a dog.
These dogs were created in the late 1800s in Germany, and involved in the project were Rottweilers, old German Shepherds (now extinct), English Greyhound, Manchester Terrier, other Greyhounds and some more breeds. The Old German Shepherd contributed intelligence, and the hounds improved their hunting and tracking abilities.

Some people attribute miniature dogs to their background, but actually, there is no relation between these two breeds. These dogs were traditionally bred for work and service, as were many other German breeds. The breed was named in honor of its founder, who died in 1894.
