Dalmatian breeders and kennels should avoid breeding dogs that are likely to end up in rescues.
These are medium-sized, well-muscled and short-coated dogs. They are active and energetic, and built well for long distance endurance and stamina; people oriented dogs, they love spending plenty of time around their families. They are known for their unusual coat coloring; thus their coat is predominantly white with round spots of black or brown.
